ST. PETE RAIDERS

Bringing Soccer to Pinellas County Families Since 1970

HAPPY NEW YEAR

HAPPY NEW YEAR

A MESSAGE FROM OUR DIRECTOR OF OPERATIONS, MIKE WINSOR

St. Pete Raiders Membership:

2016 has had many great successes for our club such as; increasing the number of teams entered into our annual Best of the Bay tournament by nearly 30, a rise in our competitive teams from 9 to 17, the acquisiton of PPYSA players and coaches, continued growth in our academy program and a solid recreational program year after year. We have also incorporated specialized training sessions, clinics and camps throughout the season to offer more to those players who want it. Additionally, with the help of the city we have begun to make some capital improvements to our clubhouse, fields and equipment.

While we continue to grow each year we never want to lose sight of our clubs mission. We are here to serve the families and youth of the St. Petersburg area and strive to provide the very best soccer experience available. We are a smaller "neighborhood" club but that allows us to focus on the true meaning of youth sports. Winning is always fun but that's not what it's all about. Soccer is a vehicle for life, teaching young people life skills that will reach beyond the pitch as they grow into adults.

So while we should all be proud of our 2016 accomplishments, stay tuned because 2017 will bring more exciting changes, additions and growth to our club. However, this means more hard work and dedication from our entire membership. From our Board of Directors & our Coaches to our Players & Parents as well. We are all part of something really special happening and our continued success is only possible with ALL OF YOU.

Be safe and have a HAPPY NEW YEAR!
