Boys/Girls:  U13(Girls),U14, U15, U16, U17, U18/19

Each group will have 2 tryouts. Coaches have the option of adding additional tryout sessions if needed. Players should attend both tryout sessions to be considered for the team; unless good reason is given, prior notice has been given by the DOC.
 
You must attend the tryout for your own age bracket. Prior permission must be granted by the Director of Coaching in order for a player to tryout in another age bracket. Players already playing up are Grandfathered in that age group if they choose to continue playing up.
Players must wear shin guards, bring a ball and water. We request that you not wear soccer club affiliated apparel. This sets an air of neutrality for ALL players attending tryouts.
 
 Age Level Guidelines 2013-2014
 
Positions on a team must be earned. Just because a player played on a team last season does not guarantee them a place on the team for the following season. If selected, playing time is not guaranteed. Coaches will decide on playing time based on merit, attendance at training and game situation. Players currently on a Vsi-Pinellas team need to be in good financial standing to attend a tryout. Tryouts are open to ALL players.
 
 
Notification:
Players will be notified no later than 24-48 hours from the date of the first tryout if successful or unsuccessful. Once notified, you will have 24 hours to respond to the invitation to join the team. A NON REFUNDABLE FEE WILL BE REQUIRED UPON SELECTION , to be applied to the registration fee.

VSI Pinellas proudly presents its Annual Tryouts at Puryear Park for teams ranging in ages 8-19 for both Girls and Boys! This is a one-time event, so your attendance is vital if you are to be a part of the VSI Family! We offer players the opportunity to play State Cup, Region Cup, USL Super Y and also the newly formed and exciting “Next Generation Series” (NGS) and are actively looking for players for all areas of our club.

VSI-Pinellas Flames Soccer Club
is proud to offer
a Summer Indoor soccer program for U-6 to u-16 players at
“After School Kicks” indoor facility 1804 62nd Ave N.
 

"Session I " Registration ends on June 4th

Past coaches and any parents that want to be coaches this summer, recruit your players and get them signed up to play. We will do our best to keep the requested players together where there are enough registrations to form teams and keep competitive balance.

When: Session  I -- June 15th thru July 13th -- 6 games over 5 weeks
            Session II -- July 20th thru August 17th -- 6 games over 5 weeks
Game Times : Games will be scheduled on Friday nights and Saturday mornings first, however the league has the option to add Sundays or another weeknight during the week to get the games scheduled based on the number of game times required to complete the 6 game schedule.
NOTE : The U-6 age group will be a 5 week session with game times on Saturday 1:00 pm.
Teams: ---- consist of up to 8 players per team for U-8 thru U-16 age groups. Teams will be co-ed ( like Spring 4v4 League ) and the Competitive and Recreational players will be combined to form teams. U-6 age group has (20 player limit, no assigned teams)
Age Groups for Summer: ---- U-8, U-10, U-12, U-14, U-16
U-6- Training session and mini-games (20 player limit, no teams)
Ages based on upcoiming 2013-14 seasonal year
Registration: ---- limited to 4 teams per age group, per session. There are 2 options when registering for these programs:
  • Register for either Session I or Session II,
  • Register for BOTH sessions prior to June 3rd and receive a $10 refund.
  • Register for Session II by July 10th 2013,
**Requests to play with friends, classmates, etc. will be honored where possible as these summer sessions are geared for fun and to allow players to keep playing soccer out of the summer heat.
Costs: ---- Registration fee is $65.00 per player, Note : U-6 fee is $55.00 for the 5 week Saturday sessions.
In-Person registration: --- Registrations will be at “After School Kicks” 1804 62nd Ave N. on dates T.B.A.

4 v 4 Spring Soccer Registration is now open for 2013.

Competitive Division - All competitive players and invited guests (register under competitive 4 v 4 league)


Recreational Division - Recreational players (register under Spring Recreational soccer and your proper age group)

Spring Soccer dates: Saturday mornings beginning March 16th, ending May 4th.

Start times for games:

Saturdays - U-8 and U-10 -- 9:00 & 9:45 U-12 and U-14 -- 10:30 & 11:00

 

 

5th Annual Ray Chassereau Tournament will top off the 4 v 4 Spring league (round robin friendly tournament - way too much fun!)

A few items of interest:

  • Cost for Spring session is $60.00 for the 6 week session
  • Registration is open thru 2/28/13. Any registrations after this date will be to fill the openings available.
  • Age Groups Available : U-6, U-8, U-10, U-12, U-14, Highschool.
  • Teams may be coed depending on the number of players registered.
  • Competitive and Recreational divisions may also be combined based on registrations.
  • If competitive teams/players are still in Region Cup/State Cup a reschedule is needed to field a team, we will try to rescheduled where possible.
  • Parents will be expected to volunteer in the concession stand. Each team will be given a date/time to help in the concession stand.

U5 & U6 Spring Academy Thursday Nights 6pm - 7pm

The U5 & U6 Academy players will be trained by the Everton Training Staff. The format will be similar to the practice schedule for the Fall/Winter season, 30 mins of instructions and skills games and 30 mins of scrimmages.
