OVERVIEW
Founded in 1970 as Northeast Raiders, the club expanded in the mid-1980s with the creation of St. Pete Raiders as its competitive division.
Today the St. Pete Raiders / Northeast Raiders Soccer Club operates both Grassroots programs (recreational) and competitive programs side by side, united by a single identity, a long tradition of development, and deep community roots.
HISTORY & VALUES
The club’s identity has evolved through several name changes while remaining true to the St. Pete Raiders spirit. We prioritize player development, character, and a lifelong love of the game. Community engagement, respect, and teamwork guide every program and decision.
MISSION STATEMENT
The St. Pete Raiders / Northeast Raiders Soccer Club is a nonprofit organization providing competitive and recreational soccer for players ages 4–19.
Our mission is to foster physical, mental, and emotional growth in youth across St. Petersburg and Pinellas County through safe, structured, and fair soccer programs that inspire a lasting passion for the sport.
ACHIEVEMENTS & PATHWAY
The club has produced State Championship teams, regional champions, and numerous college athletes.
Our goal is to offer first-class training and education that serves players from recreational enjoyment through collegiate and professional pathways.
Commitment to families & community
We value strong relationships with players and families and strive to grow together through the love of the beautiful game.
Our focus remains on building confident, skilled players and responsible community members while making soccer accessible and enjoyable for all.
